Amlou - the argan paste spread!

Amlou is a paste to be spread on bread or melba toasts. It is glossy with grilled kernels of argan oil and natural honey. Its is a famous aphrodisiac tonic and can be eaten at breakfast time or served after a meal. Amlou is traditionally used by certain Berber tribes of Morocco for pastry making. It was consumed by the nomads who crossed the desert.
